Sometimes the most unglamorous facets of being a photographer are the reasons why some of us decided to pick up a camera to begin with, or at the very least, it’s the reason why some of us still do.

For those of you who have slept in the back of your car in the middle of the Mojave desert just to be there when the sun breaks over the Piutes no explanation is needed. For those who haven’t, our Mojave Preset pack comes close.

The Mojave desert is a fabled destination for those seeking to pit themselves against the most beautifully hostile conditions in North America. Whether it’s dirt covered dune buggies, snake charmers or questionable photographers, the Mojave carries an undeniable magic that one can never be told about…only shown.

Our Mojave presets pack was literally born in the middle of the desert which bears its name. The Mojave is a place of seemingly limitless contrasting tonal values and it’s all washed with a palette of color ranges which change minute to minute. Warm reds and cool purples mesh with subtle hints of yellow and blue. We’ve even worked to push beyond simple color by including five specially formulated black and white conversions which will transport the right photograph into pure monochromatic bliss.

Truly, the Mojave is a place of wonder. Our Mojave Presets might not bring you to the desert but they just might bring the desert to you.

The latest version of Adobe Lightroom (cloud or desktop) is required to use the presets included in the Mojave preset pack. The presets are backward compatible with LR 4, 5, 6 but keep in mind that some adjustments such as Texture or Dehaze didn’t exist in earlier versions of Lightroom and thus are not applied to the lrtemplate presets. Every single presets is also compatible with the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw (10.3 or newer). All the included presets work great with RAW and JPG photos.
